Study Georgia
In order to get admission to any university in Georgia:
Step 1
1. Fill in the registration form
2. Send us a clear scanned copy of your passport data page;
3. Send us a clear scanned copy of your school leaving certificate and transcript;
4. Send us a clear scanned copy of Bachelor's degree certificate (in case of applying for the Master’s Degree Program);
5. Send us a clear scanned copy of your birth certificate or passport page, where your parent’s name is mentioned, and the identification document of your parent. Please make sure your parent’s name is written in the same way in your birth certificate/passport and his/her identification document. (Only in case of underage applicants);
6. Pay the appropriate registration fee.
*Note: We will notify you if any additional documentation will be needed based on the University requirements
Step 2
1. You will get an online interview appointment time and link.
2. After passing the interview successfully you will get a conditional invitation letter.
After the invoices are paid please send the payment SWIFT copies to us and we will start your registration at the University through Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
Registration will take approximately 6 weeks.
Once your registration process is finished you will get travel supporting documents or in case based on your citizenship if you need visa to enter Georgia you can continue visa process with us.
If you are under 18 years old please read the following information carefully to be aware what additional documents you have to submit and bring with you from your home country.
In order to get admission you will need to send us your parent’s identification document and any document which requires signature from your side, should be signed by your parent.
After arrival to Georgia you need to open bank account and for this purpose you need “Proxy” issued by both of your parents (mother and father), stating that the both of them appoint “specific person in Georgia” to represent their minor child at any bank in Georgia, to act on behalf of their child, to open bank account, to submit and collect documents at the bank, take the card on behalf of their child, take account statement and sign any documents at any bank in Georgia which may be necessary for the opening bank account for him/her and for taking account statement.
After arrival to Georgia you need to apply for residence permit and for this purpose you need “guardianship letter” issued by both of your parents, stating that both of them appoint “specific person in Georgia” to be the guardian of their minor child at Justice House in Georgia to submit and collect any document in order to obtain his/her study residence permit.
*Note 1: The mentioned documents should be legalized/certified by apostille in your home country.
*Note 2: Your name and your parents’ names should be written in the same way in absolutely all the documents, even one letter difference will fail the process.
In order to enter Georgia you need to have insurance valid for at least 6 months. In most cases it is recommended to get insurance from Georgia and we can assist you for obtaining it.
The fee for the 6 month insurance is GEL 180 (approximately USD 60), please verify the exact amount in USD before you make any payment, since due to exchange rate it may change slightly.
Please note that once your insurance expires you will be requested to extend it or obtain new insurance.
When you decide to study in Georgia it is very important to have clear information about immigration process. Based on your country of citizenship you may be required to go through different immigration procedures:
You may enter and stay in Georgia for one full year without visa
You may enter and stay in Georgia for 3 month without visa
You may need to apply for immigration visa (D3 category) in order to enter Georgia for study purpose.
If you need visa please start preparing the following documents:
Fully completed visa application form;
Receipt of payment of consular fee
Personal photo according to ICAO standards
Document proving purpose of travel (this document is provided by the University)
Extract from the bank for the last 6 months
Proof of accommodation (we will assist you to get it from Georgia)
Covid-19 vaccination document
If a fine has been imposed on an alien for illegal stay on the territory of Georgia a receipt of confirming the payment of a fine must be presented
To issue visas for minors (a person under the age 18), the visa issuing authority must be provided with the consent of their legal representatives. Such consent must be expressed in written form

Dear students once you arrive to Georgia we recommend you to stay at the hotel for couple days and meanwhile we will assist you to find appropriate flat for rent. You can get from Tbilisi International Airport to your hotel by a taxi or you can contact us for arranging airport pickup for you.
If you decide to use our service the cost for airport pick up will be approximately GEL 150 (USD 45). The price differs based on number of students and their bags, as well as the location of the hotel.
Please contact us for arranging airport pick-up at least 2-3 working days earlier before you travel.
After you arrive to Georgia you will need to open bank account and apply for temporary study residence permit as mentioned above. For this purposes you will need your passport to be translated into Georgian language and certified by notary. You can refer to us for passport translation or any other document.
Who should apply for residence permit?
Any foreign citizen who is coming to Georgia for study purpose, whether with sticker visa or stamp on arrival it is always recommended to apply for Georgian study residence permit.
When to apply for study residence permit?
It is MANDATORY to apply for study residence permit 45 days earlier before your legal stay in Georgia expires (which means 45 days earlier before your Georgian visa expires, or if you are allowed to enter Georgia without visa and stay here for 3 months you should apply for residence permit 45 days earlier before this 3 month expire).

What documents should you submit for residence permit?
Application of an established form;
Copy of your passport translated into Georgian language and certified by notary;
Copy of your Georgian visa and/or passport page where your entry to Georgia was stamped;
A document from the University evidencing that you are an active student at your university (the duration of your study program should be indicated);
Certificate from your Georgian bank account where it is indicated how much money to you have on your account at the moment (it should be sufficient to cover your living expenses for at least 6 month or more);
Photo 3×4 in size, which you must take at Public Service Hall itself;
The issue of granting a short-term residence permit is considered in 30 calendar days and the service fee is GEL 210. Fee for expedited service is GEL 330 in 20 calendar days, and GEL 410 in 10 calendar days.
